The next meeting will be held at the Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Rd., Colorado Springs with a date to be announced. The meeting will continue our work with Mending and Repair of Library Materials. Gwen Henderson will be our guest speaker.
Past Events
Our Fall 2008 meeting was held October 4th at the Salem Evangelical Church Lutheran Church. Our topic was:
How We Do Things In Our
Library: a group discussion on how individual churches manage their library and
solve common and uncommon problems. There will be special emphasis on library automation and software.
Our Spring 2008 meeting was held April 12th, at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Author Bambi Venetucci was our special speaker and will discuss her life and book. The Holy Family Catholic Church will also have a book display.The Fall 2007 meeting of the Pikes Peak Area Chapter was held in September, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs. Our theme was "Resources of Sacred Art and Architecture" with Kathryn Christnacht as our special speaker. There was also a book display.
