Must attend events
The Chicagoland Chapter will hold it's Spring workshop on April 25,2009 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church , Downers Grove Illinois . The theme will be "Focus on Fiction". Lyn Austin well known author will speak in the AM on how she researches her material.. A local book seller will attend and show new titles and other relevant material at discount. There will also be a session on "Favorite titles or series of patrons" and just "What is doing well in "your" library". Grace Puls, Reporter gracielib@aol.com. The Sierra/Central Valley (California) Chapter will hold its next meeting on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Carmichael Presbyterian Church in the Sacramento area from 9 am to 2 pm. A luncheon will be served. Phyllis Ehlert will report on the national conference. The afternoon program has not been decided yet.
New New York Chapter Just Started!
The new chapter in WNY has a library support meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 13 @ 2:00 at Wayside Presbyterian in Hamburg, N.Y. Members and non-members are welcome to join our non-denominational gathering as we share ideas about raising money during these difficult times.
