Next Meeting / Event 

Fall Meeting Set: The fall meeting of the Siouxland Chapter will be held September 27th at the Sioux City Barnes and Noble store located at 4400 Sergeant Road . Barnes and Noble opens at 9:00am.

Feel free to come in before the meeting and purchase one of the many coffees and sweet treats they have available. We will have an escorted tour of the store at 9:30 a.m. and will receive information on the church purchasing program Barnes and Noble has available.

Due to the location of our meeting, we will skip the book exchange, so hang on to those extra books until the January 2009 meeting.

As a reminder, one of our new members requested all attending members bring along their current disclaimer and selection policies to help her create one for her budding church library.

Past Events

Our fall meeting was September 29th with breakfast together at Perkins and then a tour of Barnes and Noble and help with setting up a church account.

At our April 28th meeting we showed the DVD/film "If There Were No Lutherans, Would There Still be Green Jello?" this morning.  It was well received and enjoyed by all.  We had approximately 6 visitors there specifically to view the film.
