The Sioux Valley Chapter will be meeting on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 9:30 am at the new library of Central Baptist Church. The Sioux Valley (SD) Chapter of the NCLA held it's winter meeting Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Central Baptist Church in Sioux Falls, SD. We enjoyed soup and bread and round table discussions regarding your church library ministry. Linda Watts gave a tour of Central Baptist's new and expanded library and also shared about her new venture - "Ten Thousand Villages", a gift shop downtown which features handmade items and crafts made by individuals and small enterprises in Third World Countries. Our fall 2008 meeting was held at the South Dakota Festival of Books, on September 27, 2008 . We met at the Park Place Cafe, Holiday Inn downtown. After the meeting we went to the book festival and conversation continued.
