By 2030, 1 of every 5 persons in the US will become the Silver Tsunami...being over the age of 65. What is the elderly's value in life?....LOTS!! Susan continues to study aging issues of persons 60-80 with memory loss. How does this group of people feel about their connection to community and congregations as they battle with memory loss?.....and how we, as church librarians are "hidden treasures", by placing resource materials in our libraries for use by Pastors, our congregations and community. Our roundtable discussion included sharing of books from our libraries that addressed the aging issue or were fun reading books for the elderly.
