The Rockford chapter has decided on a different format for its meetings. We now meet three times a year at a local restaurant. We find that this informal meeting works just great for us. We share problems, successes, discuss new or well-received books and ways of promoting our individual libraries.

Next meeting: The Rockford Chapter of NCLA will be meeting at Stockholm Inn Restaurant at 9:00 a.m. on September 19, 2012. The Rockford Area Church Librarians met over coffee at Katie's Cup on Thursday, June 24 at 9:00. They shared titles of new books, discuss weeding procedures and computer programs. Most of our churches use Resource Mate 3.

Our Summer 2009 meeting was held Thursday, June 18 at 9:00 a.m. at Katie's Cup, a new Lutheran coffee house in Rockford.
